This brass necklace features the Tibetan, Kila Phurba knife or dagger that is used in Tibetan-Buddhist rituals.
The Phurba is a very ancient Tibetan tool used to stake tents to the ground. The 3 edge blade, was considered sacrificing the ground itself when it held down the tents.
The three blades represent the three 'poisons' or mankind, attachment, aversion, delusion.
The daggers are the center of many Tibetan rituals and ceremonies performed to dissolve these three poisons and clear the path towards enlightenment.
They are also used in rituals to destroy aggression, hatred and violence.
The handle of this dagger pendant shows three different Buddha faces with different expressions. One is smiling... :)
This pendant is beautifully detailed and weighted perfectly to dangle on a necklace around your neck.
It measures 4.6cm in length and It will come looped on an adjustable, string type necklace.
